I recently moved to a Macbook Pro, OS is Mojave. I use Thunderbird as my email client and have 2 accounts created, my personal email alias and a shared email alias but each time I close the Thunderbird application it completely deletes the second email account. I can see a reason Thunderbird does this and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application but this does not fix. Is there a setting on the Mac that I need to change, I never had an issue with my old windows based machine.

Thanks, Lisa

What's "personal email alias and a shared email alias"? I'm assuming you have two accounts (you created two accounts) and maybe the "shared" account is an IMAP or gmail or something. Those details might help nail down the issue.

I can't find someone who lost just one account, but losing all your accounts happens: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1115736

Hi I have 2 thunderbird email accounts active in the one thunderbird instance one is a personal account only I use and one a shared account (both IMAP). Thunderbird deletes the second account (shared one) every time I close the application down. This only started when I began using a Macbook Pro 2 weeks ago.

The above knowledge item does not deal with my issue specifically and I cannot figure out why Thunderbird acts this way when the application is closed.
