When I click on the log in button on the Telstra webmail page it just hangs with three flashing dots and the page never displays. I have cleared cache and cookies and removed all tracker protection to try to fix this but still no joy.

After two very long sessions on the phone with Telstra support they could only say that there were "issues" with Firefox and that I would have to resort to using Google Chrome or Edge, neither of which appealed. However some further digging around turned up a simple fix.... go to Firefox menu / help / troubleshooting information / refresh Firefox.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Okay thanks, just tried this but the problem still remains...

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

I tried this too (and also reset my password afterwards) but still no difference.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

That was very good work. Well Done.
