when using a Fido2 security key Firefox browser requests a "security pin" to continue logging on to other website. I don't recall setting a pin. How to change or delete the pin issue?

Recently got this new pc built with an AMD ryzen 5 8500g, 16gb ram 5200mhz if that matters. While using firefox, the browser itself would stop responding and crash or sometimes just hang. I reinstalled firefox and it fixed the crashing and hanging, however a couple of hours ago while playing a browser game the computer reset itself completely Is there any way this can be fixed? I've tried some methods but i'm willing to try them again

I get this message on 2 bank sites I frequently use:

Troubleshooting Steps 1. Reload the home page and try again.

2. Clear your browser cache and try again.

3. Try logging in with a different browser.

4. Try logging in with a different device. I have gone through all of the above steps. I can access these sites on Chrome. I have contacted the bank support team and they tell me they support Firefox browser. I have also disabled the Pop-Up blocker and continue to get this message. Please advise. Thank you. Recently, my bank's bill pay program was updated. Ever since then, I haven't been able to get in to make changes using my original browser (Google), so today I tried to get in using Firefox. It worked properly while I still had my computer person available. However, when I tried to get back in to the bill pay part, it says I can't because I'm not using the browser I used to to set it up. That one won't let me in! How can I fix this? I get this message:

Recently, I am increasingly experiencing a video playback issue, where the screen goes nuts with varying color pixels blocks. I haved the most recent version of firefox installed. Can someone help me please. Thanks in advance.

I'm having this weird issue where youtube videos will play fine as long as I don't seek the video. If I do seek a couple of times, the image will freeze but the audio continues. The subtitles also continue if enabled. Firefox Release 134.0.1--January 14, 2025 Fresh install from Flatpak. No addons installed.I have tried both on and off hardware acceleration but the issue still persists even in troubleshoot mode.But no problem with other firefox based browsers like mullvad,librewolf,zen.

The context menu, which I use to select if I want to open a link in another tab (which I do a lot) or in another window (which I do with great regularity) is over flowing with 50+ items. This is beyond ridiculous! A context menu is supposed to provide you functions related to what you are doing. When I just misspelled a the same 50+ options came up. When I right click I expect the context menu, that will work. When I right click on a link and select either open in a "new tab" or "open in a new window" NOTHING happens. When I right click on a misspelled word I do not get a proposed correct word. The context menu is either broken or really needs an overhaul. This just started today after Firefox updated to 134.0

I raised a support request for MalwareBytes Browser Guard version 2.6.27 blocking EASYLIST.

This is an anti-tracking tool, that some site use in their anti BOT checking JS scripts, prior to outputting the reCAPCHA Challenge, so it gets blocked, stopping users signing up, or signing in.

Please explain why Mozilla/Firefox has prevented Browser Guard from being updated to the later 3.x.x. releases.

Semaphore.social is a mastodon/fediverse web client. I've been using it without issue up to now and it has not updated recently.

After a few hours running the CPU usage of Firefox becomes very high (25-50%) and the about:performance shows that it is due to this tab, which shows at values from 110 to 160% or thereabouts.

I haven't noticed this before updating to Firefox 134.0 so I suspect it may be a Firefox regression.

However I cannot work out what the cause is, how to fix it, or if I should file a bug on it.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I have rebooted my system and cleared my cache multiple times.

I just installed Firefox today.

No streaming service works. Not Prime, not Netflix, none of it. Only YouTube or other free sites. I'll hear audio only, but get stills or black screen for video. I've logged out of those sites, cleared those sites individual cache and cookies. I have disabled all add-ons for the streaming sites. I have ensured that autoplay is enabled for Firefox.

I don't know what else to do and I am in some distress over it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm using FF for year for development and had several problems with cached data in this time. Now, since the last update (automatic update yesterday), Firefox is caching my js for localhost and ignores nearly everything to stop it.

F5 and Ctrl+F5: no effect Enabling "Disable cache" in devtools: no effect changed about:config (no effect): browser.cache.disk.capacity 0 browser.cache.disk.enable false browser.cache.memory.enable false devtools.cache.disabled true

Only going to settings > privacy + security > Clear Data helps. But as you can imagine, that's really bad DX

I tried a FF-addon for clearing css cache, but it's outdated and doesn't work.

Is there anything I can do, to disable cache for localhost?

I don't understand why this aggressive caching problem is ignored for years and gets worse every year! Why are settings like "Disable cache" in devtools so broken? I tested other browsers and have not found the same issues. I don't want to switch browsers! I just want a cache free localhost! FF can cache the sh*t out of every webpage. But please leave localhost out of it!

All of a sudden, I get a "Not enough room to save" error message when I try to download a fill. There is plenty of room on my disk.

Also, it's not giving me the option of just opening the file.

I've been needing to use Edge to download files.
