I am unable to access any government of Canada web pages from my iPad using Firefox latest iOS version. I can access from my iPhone, using Firefox with the exact same configurations, as well as my Mac computer using Firefox. I am able use Safari on the iPad to access the domain Canada.ca. No other domains I have visited have an issue. The page immediately returns “The Network Connection Was Lost” Try Again page. only when using Firefox only on my iPad. I have tried using different DNS settings, weakening/increasing privacy settings all to no avail.

This seems very random and strange to me

I am using Firefox on my iPad, and I am loving most of the experience. The most annoying thing is that when I scroll up, the menubar with all my tabs will automatically hide. Is there a way to disable this behavior? It keep messing with the website layout.

I understand the incentive to hide the menubar to immerse me in my “browsing experience”, but it honestly only annoys me and I get the same feeling as when interacting with a multifunction-printer that is trying to be smarter than it actually is.

I just heard the disheartening news that Mozilla just removed its long-standing promise to never sell peoples’ data…and inserted language giving themselves worldwide license to use the information entered in Firefox. Where can I find these new terms? How did I miss this?

i have repeatedly completed the sync process, signing in, authenticating, after each one, the place where my synced firefox account would show up in my settings reverts back to an un-logged-in sign in button. i unsynced my browser because i have been unable to send tabs to this device, but now i am unable to sync anything. i have already deleted the app and restarted my device several times, as well as removing the device from the list of devices from a synced desktop browser.

When I try to access links on Spotify, Ticketmaster, and some of the links I have in my emails I get an access denied, or suspicious activity, or unusual activity responses so I can’t access the pages. I’ve tried it using my VPN, and I’ve tried it with my VPN off. Is there some setting I am missing that’s causing to happen? How can I fix it?

Yesterday, while using Google sheets as a new board member, I was instructed to use Google Chrome. I hated it. However, what I hate more is that I seem to have lost Firefox as my default browser. My settings indicate Firefox is my default browser but every time I turn on my laptop, I have to sign in using my password to Gmail, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, etc. HELP. I hate this. URL hijacking Let’s take a real time example; I was trying to recover my business instagram account, a message with link to reset password was sent to me by message, but the browser first shows “open in app” pop up and by cancelling that it stucks and does not load page. When I tried to get the link again, it showed the similiar error it would give on other devices where it would say “we can’t send link to this number bcos of your security settings”. The browser contacted static.cdninstagram.com

Please make the iOS app background changeable back to dark. It looks terrible with white background, in my opinion. Please make it background color an option in the settings. Thank you.

When scrolling in Firefox iOS it can be pretty wild. Websites jump up and down. It does seem to me that this might’ve related to the address bar appearing and disappearing. I tried old bar, refreshed one, keeping it up-top or down at the bottom and nothing seems to fix this issue. Did anyone come across anything like that?
