Firefox Hello has NEVER worked; I'm using the latest Firefox browser. When I click the icon and then press "start a conversation", a message appears; "Something went wrong". I can't get beyond this. Very frustrating. Can anyone help? Thank you.

We are sorry there was an issue with the service on Sunday that has now been resolved. You should be able use Hello again as normal.

Five days later; Same problem. The lack of functionality never ever changes.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

Hi dusabrive, sorry I've been away for a few days.

If you start up Firefox, then go to the Tools menu -> Web Developer -> Browser Console, you should get a new window opened.

Then, can you go to start a conversation (or open an existing one), and see if any errors or messages are shown on the console when you do that?

If you don't understand them here, copying them here or posting a screenshot I can take a look at it and see if there's a particular reason it isn't working.
