Since the latest update of Firefox (3.6.8) I have trouble playing the programmes offered by the BBC. The website works fine, but the programmes won't play.

I tried adjusting settings and renewing plugins/add ons, but that didn't help.

Any ideas on which settings I should check, or what else I can do to solve this?

I have had this a couple of times. Suddenly start to happen and my kids start moaning that they cant watch the BBCi player. I tracked it down to my firewall and not all the other comments posted elsewhere through google help sites. In my firewall rules (Online Armor), I deleted a rule for Plugin-container.exe. It then worked. I have done this twice now, once about a month ago and today. Both times it starts to play again. Thanks

That seems to have done the trick; thanks!

(I'm sorry it took a while before I could reply; I got stuck in a loop here at the support site where I had to sign in but couldn't because I was already signed in...)
