when i have only one tab open, if i click on the [X] to close it, it loads a search page that my mail.com addon changed ( see attachment).

How can i edit this to remove the last tab to show nothing or something of my choice not this search page ??

What extension causes this page to be opened?

You would normally get a blank tab if you have set browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to false to prevent closing the last tab. If this is done via an extensions then you need to check its settings.

the mail.com browser addon does this. I toggled the lasttab to false, restarted FF a couple times and checked that the setting stayed false, and it does. But... when i click the [X] on the last tab i see a blank page show up for a split second then the search page shows up as show in the screen capture. The mail addon doesnt have any option to stop this that i can change.. i sort of figured it had changed FF's settings somewhere, so i was looking to change it back or to a blank page or to my normall homepage.

I guess i could just learn to not click the [X] on the last tab :P ..

Weird thing is, i don't actually see why the [X] is even shown when only one tab is open.. seems like someone was lazy in the scripting department, or is there a valid reason to try and close the only tab open ??
