Firefox loading incorrect password in saved passwords. Tried to delete the saved login but it doesnt delete and when I manually do it it still loads the incorrect password. Works on other browsers with no issues.

When you try deleting the password, what happens? Any error messages?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

No theres no error messages when I go to the passwords area and remove it it goes away from the list, I close firefox and reload and it appears as a saved option in the drop down list of the email to click on. It loads the correct password yet the site still says its incorrect. I load a diff browser (Opera) and I can log right in. I tried to use troubleshoot mode and the same thing. It errors.

Some websites update/modify the password field before submitting the form for some reason (maybe they want to disrupt storing the password). If Firefox detects that the field is different than saved in the Password Manager when the form is submitted then Firefox offers to update/store this password. If necessary edit the password in Lockwise and create a login block exception for this origin (protocol and hostname) to prevent Firefox from updating the stored password. You may have to use "Use Saved Login/Password" in the if auto-fill isn't working.

Ive been playing on this same site for 9 years as of tomorrow only recently has this been happening. This may be the case if ALL browsers were doing it but only firefox has the issue as I had already mentioned.....OPERA allows me to get in no password issues.

I have removed the login and manually typed it in....same result it denies the login. However when I manually did it in OPERA it asked for the new password and it allowed me to login.

I would try opening notepad and copy and paste in the password.

I already did this and its failing. I should also note I play 27 other accts on this same site and they login with no issues. Only this one. This has happened before on a different acct.....like I had said and im using the free VPN from opera and I can get in on this acct with the password.
