I have two toolbars under the address bar. One is Norton toolbar and the other is a Upromise toolbar. These toolbars are both active and the appear stacked under the address bar. I'm wondering if I can save space and place these two toolbars side by side on the same line instead of them stacking on top of each other. Neither toolbar takes over half my screen so there should be away to move the bottom toolbar to go beside the top one. Thanks

Should be possible.

  1. Right click a blank part of the Tab bar and then click Customize. A panel will open and while it remains visible you can drag toolbars and buttons around and place them wherever you wish.

  2. To remove a button or toolbar, drag it into that panel.

  3. To add to the existing layout, drag elements out of there.

  4. To reduce the size of the buttons, checkmark: "Use small icons" in that panel.

  5. To remove the text from buttons, change the dropdown (bottom left) to "Icons".

Thanks for the reply but I was unable to move or drag the toolbars. I have added a screen shot in hopes that it will better show what I am trying to accomplish. I am trying to put the Norton toolbar and the upromise toolbar on the same line. Thanks

You can only do that if both (all) toolbars support that move feature and allow to be dragged on another (new) toolbar. Most toolbars do not allow this.

it might be a good idea to get rid of the Upromise toolbar altogether. As you can see from this article, there are security concerns associated with it: Upromise Toolbar betrays privacy

To remove it, click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Extensions. You should be able to remove it in there.
