250125 My comment to Mozilla Firefox browser

In the 2010s, before bigtech algorythms shadowbanned me to dust (online and offline) firefox was great. But after google's spooks (my half-sister but 1) and Silicon Valley algorythms, left to using Samsung phones and the (Google) android OS, using other than their chrome browser is impossible. Which says that such systems, device brands and forprofit bigtech corps are operating illegally, so need to have all their patents, rights, "permissions" and even rights to profit, revoked.

I have a ton of java malware and DNS redirects on my device and it Im trying to remove it but it seems like the abuser is still has some type of device admin still. What's my best options if I really need my device (android) to function for just a while longer sothat I can replace all of the other bricked and malfunctioning equipment that got wave linked with it? I'm not even totally sure the abuser has gone on because some of the software is still not working properly and some has even changed from the developers intended use. Firefox for Android, Galaxy phone

Whenever I use "previous page" or back arrow to return to a Google search results web page it goes to the top of the page of search results instead of returning to where I left off.

For example, if I tap on the 57th link on a page of Google search results to check out the web page and then i tap the back arrow to return to the page of Google search results it should return to the 57th search result where I left off. In actuality it goes to the top of the search results page and I have to scroll down to the 57th search result to resume from where I left off.

When I tried to recreate this problem in the Opera browser for Android it always returned to where I left off.

Trying to sync to Firefox on my desktop and it's not giving me the sync and save data option on my phone. How do I sync the too? I want my passwords to update between both and it doesn't and it's been an ongoing issue.

Thank you jscher2000, you have the right solution. Now I have a different problem in this context. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser deleting all cookies after finishing the browser, and now I want to enter Startpage as an exception. Unfortunately, I cannot find this option. I am sure you can help me here too. Brigitte

Created a HomeScreen shortcut for FB.

I also have my FF Theme set to dark and that works great from the main FF window but seems to be ignored from the window launched from home screen (and shows light, this is the case also when the theme is set to follow the device theme)

if there is a wayvy9nsetvgtheme for HomeScreen shortcuts it's not obvious how to do so

Why is it that when I type in part of an url in firefox search, for example "surf" when I'm wanting to visit r/surf, firefox suggests threads I viewed a single time rather than r/surf that I view multiple times per day?

You can see in chrome it behaves more like you would expect.

Sometimes plain r/surfing will be there but most of the time not, it's just random threads I viewed a single time.

There doesn't seem to be any combination of search settings that makes it suggest more frequently viewed sites

The link from this Firefox in my phone to Google Play store download is not working. While using Firefox, my activities online at gaming sites notably Africabet.com have been manipulated via Firefox. My Google Account inFirefox have been manipulated through redirected links to fake pages of Google, MSN, Yahoo, Duckduckfo, PayPal, Payoneer etc OTP verification codes when I sign in to my Google account have been intercepted and the automatic redirect prompt intercepted. Firefox has been used to intercept OTP security codes from my Amazon KDP accounts and my Google Mail on Firefox has been manipulated either through delays on the app which make no sense when you use the website Firefox instead and then see the difference. I have lodged a complaint before and it looked as if the issue had been resolved only to resurface

When accessing www.gsp.ro and scrolling up and down it feels very choppy like a frame rate drop down.

The issue doesn't seem to happen in another browser or accessing different websites with Mozilla.

I have updated to the latest Firefox version for the Android app, using Samsung Galaxy S20. When viewing YouTube in mobile view (desktop view works though) through the browser, the comment section seem to be invisible and not showing. I have tried fresh reinstalling, and toggled all the settings, but I can't seem to get it to work on Firefox. Other browsers like chrome works just fine. Is this a bug?

There used to be a forward arrow option in the three button menu. Now there is not and I cannot find out where it is or how to navigate forward.

This seems like a bug because navigating forward is a core function of browsing. Anyone know where it went or how to fix this?

How do I save my settings when I change them? I really do not like the dark theme but when I try to change it to the light theme it does not seem to recognize my choice when I open Firefox the next time. I also don't like that fact that Firefox does not open on my homepage like it used to. How can I revert to the Firefox I had before it was apparently updated?
