Alternative for MozRepl Add On (WWW::Mechanize::Firefox)

more options

Hi, I have many perl scripts that use WWW::Mechanize::Firefox that relies on MozRepl in FireFox. I understand that MozRepl add-on is no longer supported. Is there any alternative? recommendations? Thanks, Marie-Johanne

Interesting tool. You might need to switch to the Extended Support Release of Firefox 52. That's Firefox 52 with critical security fixes, and will be maintained through Spring 2018. It is used both by companies and by individuals (including all XP/Vista users).

As for the longer run, I assume that extensions which open a back door into Firefox will not be supported, but add-on developers are very creative, so we might all be surprised.
