Running Firefox 57.0 (64-bit) on Win 7. Ever since the update to 57.0 Firefox always auto-launches on system startup. Firefox does not show up on the Startup tab in msconfig nor in the Startup folder in All Programs.

Does it has effect if you (temporarily) set another browser as the default browser in case some application tries to open the default browser?
