How can I download Firefox to a memory stick which I can then use on public access computers which DO NOT have Firefox installed on them?
I am regularly using public access computers at libraries and similar places. Firefox is seriously Conspicuous by Absence on these machines. I would therefore like to download a fully functional Firefox browser to my memory stick, NOT the public computer hard drive. I will then be able to plug in my memory stick and RUN Firefox from the memory stick on any public access computer which DOES NOT already have Firefox installed.
I have at present got a Firefox Setup Stub 52.0 on my memory stick, but this is now probably out of date and it is for downloading Firefox, not Running Firefox.
Thank you

You can download Firefox portable edition. https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
Note, it may not always work depending on the computer's setup (most public computers block USB devices)
Once you have set up the portable version, you can use sync to share data between your programs.
I am seeking to get a version onto a memory stick which will then boot and run from the memory stick o any computer I plug it into without installing on the computer I choose to use . My local friends have advised me that I need to create a "Boot Drive" on the memory stick. Is there a Firefox "all in one Boot Drive" version I can download?
Ideally I/we could then add further software to the Firefox Standard Boot Drive directory if I/other users choose to do so.
Thank you.
I will inform here I work in a public library and they block any running programs from USB. So what your doing will violate your Term of Usage in the library and it will not work. Any .exe will not run from the library unless your the IT running diagnosing task. They also block Explorer functions as well-Windows 10 is far better at blocking unauthorized user functions. We here shouldn't go down that route.

Hi, you also would not make the USB bootable.
thing to do is try with the : https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable have something up on the screen that you want and know about then try and start the portable. If it works with out someone coming over to you, great, if it causes someone to come over to you say must have clicked the portable by accident while was going to save as.

Not from Mozilla.
You could look at Linux distributions. They often include Firefox and if not Firefox, another open source browser. This is not the best forum for that.

Why are you ignoring the portable Firefox suggestion?
If the library systems are using Windows (7, 8, or 10) and are not blocking usb ports then the portable Firefox from https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable should do it. It is portable in that it can run completely off a usb flash drive and nothing needs to install on the Windows system being used.
