HI, I was on my home page & when I minimized it I noticed an icon that I never had before "debug" what is this please!?
All of a sudden this icon appeared on my screen- "debug" I tried to delete it but box popped up saying I could not delete b/c it was running in another program. I searched & found it was in my Desktop in Start Menu. I right clicked again & found that MyKaspersky had scanned it & reported no threat-good to know, but what the Heck is it & where did it come from? (it was listed as 'debug' in "LOG File"-what the heck is an LOG File & how can I find it?) It has Firefox logo attached, so I'm hoping you can tell me What it is-Where did it come from-Who authorized it-& What do I do with it??? Thank You

What is the content of this debug (debug.log) file if you inspect the file in a text editor or in Firefox?
You can drag this file in an empty Firefox tab to see if you can open it in Firefox.
cor-el Hi, I have no idea what this is. I opened it under firefox & the tab came up but the page is blank. Thanks for answering so quickly.
- Have you tried opening the file in a text editor such as Notepad as per corel's suggestion ?
- What size is the file ?

Hi john99, thanks for responding, but I just right clicked on icon again & tried to delete it again and for some unknown reason it worked this time. So I thank you again, but I guess I won't need any help on this anymore. Thanks Again & have a Blessed Day
My apologies john99.....I turned on comp today (8/27) & my little unknown "debug" icon is back (somehow yesterday I managed to delete it or so I thought). It is in my desktop, it has FF logo on icon above name, it says it was created 8/25/13 & now 'modified' 8/27/13, when I right click & try to delete it (again) it once again says I can not delete b/c it is running in another program which I have NO idea where or what this other program is, it is named 'debug.log' - type, LOG File (.log) - size, 0 bytes. Now whereas I appreciate yours & cor-el's help I can not give the info asked...file size (would that be the 0 bytes it says?)
And I can't 'open' the file b/c every time I click to open it a new tab opens up but the page is always Blank!
I'm technically challenged, so please don't get too technical with me-haha. Thanks Again john
p.s. I just clicked on 'browse' & tried to include it from my desktop, but it says "ERROR UPLOADING IMAGE Invalid or no image received"
