I try to sync FF between a laptop and a desktop. Everytime I login and approve via email code I get the question to sync my mobile and the account icon gets a yellow triangle.

How do I sync between a laptop and a desktop properly?

I followed 5x the instructions that came with "please sign in to reconnect " but it just offers mobile sync and throws the browser out of the account again..

I have tried to regaing access to my main account for days now and I can not get past the "Enter authentication code to continue to ⁨Firefox Sync⁩"

"Open your authentication app and enter the authentication code it provides." "Enter 6-digit code"

So where is the authentication app"

I want back into my account!!!!!!

I've tried to Uninstall Firefox Multiple times - I have Clear out the Registry and located every possible file andfolder on my system but it appears Firefox has some anchor files and or lines in the registry that I am unable to remove and all that happens when I attempt to create a new account or use my primary account or some old accounts using old email addresses is it is looking for a 6 Digit Code from an Authenticator App I don;t seem to have or know how to get to - I want this resolved and not told to do pointless instructions from Mozilla support that lead, EVERYTIME to the same issue I am trying to resolve.

I recently bought a new computer and synced my Firefox profile. Bookmarks and other items have synced, but only two of my add-ons (extensions) are syncing from the old computer. I'd love to be able to sync them all especially because one of the add-ons is no longer available and I use it frequently. Is there a different way to bring the extensions form the old computer to the new one?

Settings are set to Open Previous Windows and History upon restart. NO crash(last crash report was 2022). NO update. Opened Firefox today with no tabs, no history, no option to restore. Bookmarks are intact, settings it seems. I am not sure what happened.

After searching and trying to follow several articles - still nothing helped. Looking at Profile - and the 3 choices were from today. Is there ANY WAY to restore previous to today?

Recently I have upgrade my OS from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04, but while I logged in my firefox account to recover my bookmarks & settings, I can't find them. How to recover my bookmarks?

Don't know how, but I deleted Firefox on my desktop. Re-downloaded it on my computer and signed into my acct. But how do I get my NUMEROUS web bookmarks and folders w/ web bookmarks back? I still have everything on my phone app, but if try to sync I think my phone will just get what my computer now has which is nothing.

The verification mode that accompanies the payment page keeps asking me to match images. I do that if the version of the matching image is exactly the same as the one given. However, if the version is different--eyeballs, nose, mouth--then I don't match it. What am I supposed to do to get through this verification mode and make my payment in order to complete my order.

I opened up firefox to see that all my passwords disappeared, I've tried syncing, and following this article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update), but still nothing. I can see in my firefox profile file that there are logins.json-4.corrupt files, but I don't know what to do from here. Please can someone help? (Also please be explain step by step simply)

I just installed Firefox on a new device and wanted to set it up to mirrow my Firefox setup on another device. On this other device, I use both Firefox and Chrome, but I keep them separate, so that Chrome is associated with my Google account and Firefox with my work/professional account. When I installed Firefox on my new device, it defaulted to using bookmarks from my Chrome account somehow. Thinking I could inherit the correct bookmarks from Firefox on my old device, I turned on Sync for my new Firefox. But this had the opposite effect: it sent the Chrome bookmarks from my new Firefox to the Firefox on my old device. I even have a third device running Firefox in the same framework as my old device (so, Firefox=professional, Chrome=personal/Google), and this third device also automatically acquired the Chrome bookmarks from the Firefox on my new device.

How do I fix this? How do I recover the Firefox bookmarks (my non-Google Chrome bookmarks)? Thank you!

So today i did a format on my PC when i go to Firefox i log in with Mozilla account but i don't remember my password so i reset it with a message to my mail but i didn't have a recovery key, i haven't used this function never and i swear that the last time i did this and logged in everything was perfect. After because i freaked out ofc i try to log in with my google account and because i assume the fresh sync got through poof nothing at all. As far as i understand i lost all my bookmarks,history, browser settings etc since i am only on 1 PC and i can't access them ever again is that correct? Is there a way to actually get my browser back to where it was before i essentially formatted my PC without doing everything by hand

Recently I installed firefox again after install new windows. But I lost my old sync details. How can I get my old sync details. I would like to get backup before 2 days ago. I want my old backup.

Every time I try to sign in into my FF account in the browser it fails to connect to sync.

I get to the sign-in stage, it already knows my email so I'm prompted to put in my password then it sends me an email with code which I put in then I am prompted to put in my 2FA. I get signed in on a separate Mozilla accounts page but when I click on the Account icon in the top right in my browser and sync starts it immediately fails and says "Account Disconnected". I noticed that this started happening after I updated my email/updated Firefox to 131.0 (64-bit) Windows. Not sure if any of it is related.

I have tried various things like:

1. Logging in and out (multiple times) 2. Refreshing Firefox 3. Checking that I am not always using Privacy Mode (I was not) 4. Changing Profiles, changing default profiles 5. Reinstalling Firefox

Nothing solves the problem. I am now unable to see any of my bookmarks or anything from my profile because sync never works. I want to add that this is NOT a problem on Android. The issue happens only on my desktop FF installation.
