bold text Passwords to keep thunderbird going. Always asking for password but never works. Can I remove the program and reinstall it without loosing my mail accounts? I have tried all of the help but no luck. I need help.

win10 and thunderbird has been good but about a week ago it is not doing well for receiving and sending mail.

you can remove and reinstall. But it is most unlikely to help you with this.

Did Thunderbird recently update? If so it may well be your anti virus program blocking connection causing the password prompts.

Otherwise what mail provider are you using?
