Firefox won't load certain sites (Princess.com, Schwab.com etc)
Something has changed with my Firefox browser. It will no longer load certain sites or it takes forever to load them. I have to switch to Microsoft Edge browser to load the sites. I'm wondering if there is some security function enabled on Firefox that is causing this problem. It started a few months ago but prior to that everything worked fine. Hate to give up Firefox but it this continues will move over to Microsoft.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

- How to clear the Firefox cache {web link}
You can check the connection settings.
- Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
Turned off Smart Block then websites loaded. Restarted computer tried again with same websites & back to the old problem, wouldn't load. Checked and Smart Block was still turned off. Turned it back on because why not! Frustrating as something has changed in Firefox & now I have to move to Microsoft.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

Try turning it on and off.
