If the network user's Library folder is re-named(deleted), they can launch in 10.4 again. But as soon as they launch Firefox on a 10.6 mac, 10.4 computers won't launch it. Tried renaming only specific Mozilla, Firefox, and Internet folders and prefs with no results.

Are both using the same profile?

You can only start Firefox once with a specific profile.

The profiles are saved in the users' network home, so it is the same profile. But the logins are not simultaneous. I've also tried renaming only the Firefox/Mozilla files in App Support so I don't believe it to be a profile issue. It seems as though some other file in their Library is being modified when they login on a 10.6 machine that won't allow the app to launch after they logout and switch to a 10.4 machine.
