On yahoo mail doesn't open online messenger contats windows when i want to chat
Yahoo Mail has a web messenger, in Firefox 8 all worked fine, but after upgrading to 9.0.1 when i click on a contact in my contacts list (to send a IM) nothing happens, in Firefox 8, when i clicked on a contact, a window opened and i could type my message, insert smiles... and send messages. So in Firefox 9.0.1 when i do the same thing nothing happens, no window appears and i can't type or send messages. Tried disabling adblockplus, but this didn't solved the problem.

I found a workaround to get chat to work.
STR: 1. Go into your Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK. 2. Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
After that I can get the chat window to launch. I tested on Mac as well as that workaround works.

Kambinator, I've been trying for an hour and I can not get the Messenger Options to even open up. Tried another hint to go to a contact first and then open and still no go.
Yes, it's another issue, Messenger options are not reachable. Wait for a fix or use FF 10 beta.
