Using the new version 31.0, how do you keep the address field from scrolling up and no longer be able to see the entry. When entering an email address, you use to be able to hit tab or enter and it would take you to the subject field but still allow you to see the email address that you entered in the To: field. Now it immediately scrolls up and shows an additional To: field.

I have used the suggestion in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1015411?esab=a&s=more+than+1+row+in+version+31.0&r=22&as=s however, you have to do that with each email, it does not remain static, and defaults back to showing only 1 To: field.

Any help is appreciated.

I have also made sure the addresswidget:

mail.compose.addresswidget.numRowsShownDefault = 3

Thanks!

The old addressee format allowed for multiple lines (addressees) within a single addressee box. You could arrow up or down within the box. The new addressee format makes each addressee a separate box and you can't arrow up and down within the addressees. You must use the slider. And the slider doesn't appear until you create more than the number allowed. I'm using the add-on "Stationary" which adds a slightly different wrinkle to the problem. But the real problem is the new format. I would like an option to use the old format. I can't see the new format as an improvement.
