Thunderbird will not sent emails to multiple recipients. Error message says "the size of the message exceeds a temporary size limit of the server.
I am new to Thunderbird. Switched recently when my old Windows Live Mail stopped working. My email server is Spectrum. The problem that I am having with Thunderbird is that it won't send emails to multiple recipients. Two or three, yes. But a large number of recipients, no. I get an error message: "the size of the message you are trying to send exceeds a temporary size limit of the server. The message was not sent. try to reduce the message size or wait some time and try again. 4.1.1nbto:11 too many rcpts 10E2210". I am not sending attachments. The annoying thing is that the email shows up in my sent box as being sent. I have started blind-copying myself and I do not receive the email. This is really not acceptable as 50% of my emailing is to long lists of recipients. I have called Spectrum and the response is that as long as I can successfully send the emails through Spectrum.net, it is not a problem at their end. I'd appreciate some help with this. Thanks.
