Hello,

Two things:

1. When I open a link in Firefox, the back button will not work taking me back to the page before.

2. I want to be able to open another page with another page open.

Any advice or suggestions appreciated,

Don

For your first question, does this happen on every website? Some websites are sneaky and will bring you to a different page before you get to the main page. In those cases, pushing the back button brings you to the page that just redirects you back to the page you were just on. This essentially makes you stuck on the website.

In these cases, you can click and hold the back button to see a complete history of pages you have visited in that tab. With the mouse button still held down you can move the cursor to the page you want to go back to and release. This is useful for navigating back multiple pages.

For the second question, this is what tabs are for. Instead of clicking on a link to open it, you can click it using the right mouse button to see a list of options. One of those options will be to open the link in a new tab. This will open the page in a new tab visible at the top of the browser.

Alternatively, you can choose to open the page in a new window instead.

Hope this helps.
