Can I use another version of firefox if my Mac PowerBook G4 version 10.4.11 can't be updated to the latest firefox?
When I tried to update Firefox, I got a message that my system, an Apple laptop (PowerBook G4, 10.4.11) does not meet the system requirements and that the Firefox version I am now using is unstable and insecure. Is there a Firefox version that I can use with my vintage Mac that will be safe to use?

For an unofficial Firefox 7 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
This is still supported, but in time it to won't be, sooner or later you will have to go back to Apple's browser.

Thank you. Guess I'll head toward Safari.
