Did you recently use the Firefox "Refresh" feature? This sometimes is suggested when Firefox is starting up especially slowly. The tell-tale sign is an Old Firefox Data folder on your Windows desktop.
Have you noticed any issues with secure certificates around the time this problem started? One reason that HTTPS sites may appear "unstyled" is if you make an exception for the site, but the site uses other secure servers for part of its content. Firefox does not apply the exception to those other servers.
Since you should never need to make certificate exceptions for mainstream sites, if you are seeing that problem, we need to pause all other troubleshooting and and solve that one first. Whether it's just Firefox needing to become reacquainted with your security software, or a malware infestation, we're happy to help with troubleshooting.

Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Click the menu button , choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the "Clear Now" button.
Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
