Firefox ESR Flash support
Hi, In continuation to this thread, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1293344 , May i know if the decision to continue the support for Flash is still the end of June 2021 or has it already been decided to push until Sep/Oct end?

it is unlikely Flash will be purchased by Mozilla .
If Adobe no longer wants it then its because they looked into the future and calculated its no longer viable

but its just my opinion based on the principles that have been in practice since MS Dos.

I understand Mozilla will not purchase Flash. But Firefox ESR currently support Flash and Flash plugin must be installed in the PC for Flash to work. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1293344 - here they say that the current version of ESR (78) will continue to support Flash until the end of June. Most times there is an extension of 3 more month, so probably the Flash will work until September. This is what i want to confirm.
Hello there, Can someone please pick up my question? I have an application that is dependent on flash and hence i am dependent on ESR. So I need to know the life of Flash via ESR.
Please help!!
Thanks Mohan.

Hi, Thanks for the information. ruffle is not fully supporting my application; some part of my application is failing and the add on is also not working well.
But ESR 78 works perfectly for me with a version of flash NPAPI plugin installed on the PC.
My concerns are:
- When is Firefox scheduled to release the next version for ESR and is it decided that it will remove support for Flash?
- or will it extend?
- even if it removes the support in ESR 79**, can I still keep my ESR 78 and work with Flash or will it affect the capability of locking the current version or even falling back to 78 in case I get auto updated?
Thanks Mohan Kumar S
