I was trying to log into Firefox on a new computer and couldn't remember the password, so I reset it. Later, I found my original password stored on a different computer. Is there a way to log into my old account on the new computer? It seems to only recognize the new password, and there are no bookmarks, etc. saved. I tried reinstalling Firefox and that didn't work - it recognized that it had been installed before and would only accept my new password.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Unfortunately once you change the password anything connect to firefox account will change along with it as well. Firefox by default doesn't require password to use the Browser. Once password is changed anything connected to firefox account will change to match the new login. You should go back to the original system/device that had this information if you want to re-sync the data again. You can't use another device that doesn't contain the data to sync since there is nothing to sync from it. It has to be from the system that had the data that will sync across devices. Sync isn't to be used as a backup tool of which it's not made for.

Best is to change the password on the device where you can login to the old password.

In case of issues try to login to the Firefox Account via this website.
