My tabs only show when I put my cursor on the top of my page. I also cant see the time anymore!! How do I fix this, I hate it!!

I cant see tabs unless Im hovering my cursor at the top of the page. There is no start menu and I cant see the time or date at all (usually at the bottom) I hate this, how can I change it back?
