Hahaha, that's great. Needed a little laugh.
The interface you see in Firefox 29 is the first major UI change since Firefox 4.0. Many users have liked it, others have hated it, but there are ways to get your previous look back. All the information you need is below:
Here are a few suggestions for restoring the old design. I hope you’ll find one that works for you:
- Use the Classic Theme Restorer to bring back the old design. Learn more here: How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox
- Use the Add-on Bar Restored to bring back the add-on bar. Learn more here: What happened to the Add-on Bar?
Or if you want to go back to a previous version, completely feel free to use the old versions. Remember that this puts your machine and personal data at an increased risk.
- See also Install an older version of Firefox
Note: Please remember to be wary of what sites you download from as they may advertise Firefox 22 for example and package it as a Beta, RC, or other pre-release version and may have malware/adware or other unwanted items.
oh i am a IT guy i had Classic Theme Restorer in a matter of seconds i just felt that it needed to be said also still have no reply from mozilla.org/feedback and do you get comp for the work that you do here or is this just one of the things you do for fun
gerr717,
We do NOT receive any kind of compensation for doing technical support. Everyone has a life outside of Mozilla Support and no one here gets paid for doing the answering here.
I'm locking this thread since it doesn't involve a support issue!
