I need to migrate my outlook2000 email SENT messages, operating on Win2000 to Thunderbird 32 on my new desktop with Win8.1. To my delight, the inbox populated automatically with TB32 from a pop3 setup. Outlook2000 will not run on my win8.1, so I installed TB12 on the Win2000 computer since higher than TB12 won't install. I'm thinking I can transfer the TB12 messages to the other TB32 win8.1 computer after I get them extracted. The import brought in the sent messages but none of the subject or to columns are populated. I need the past "sent" emails for my small business so I can find and refer back to past emails. You can open the emails but you can't browse or search on "subject" or "to" the way it is. Any ideas to try?

Hey, I got it fixed. Someone told me to migrate outlook to outlook express (included with win2000) which transferred the subjects and the tos. Then using TB12 I imported from outlook express and everything was there. To transfer the sent messages from TB12 to the win8.1 TB32, I selected all the sent and hit "saveas" under the file menu. This created each message as a .eml file which I dragged to the sent folder on the TB32 machine. Perfect.
