I keep getting popups from wxfix.globalweathercorp.com wanting to track my weather. The only choice is yes or not now. I want requests ended completely. How?
Popups have been blocked and no tracking is authorized. Every time I open foxfire, I get the popup. Whether the source is safe or not, I want to decide whether some other user can intrude on my computer. I have Windows 7 and Firefox version 31.0

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good add / pop-up blocker.
