Just yesterday, while download something from GamersGate.com, the download wasn't showing the correct amount of time remaining and was just being weird. So I tried cancelling it, and it wouldn't clear. I tried restarting Firefox, redownloading the file, and even deleting what I had downloaded. But every time I started Firefox, it said there were downloads remaining, and when closing Firefox, it asked if I wanted to cancel the downloads. This has started happening with every download now, no matter the size or the website. I have noticed some of the downloads even finish (but it doesn't register as finished in the Download Status Bar). Any suggestions.

By the way, I did look up how to delete the download file from my Profile to clear what's there, but I'd like to know if there is a fix for this.

You can create a new String pref on the about:config page via the right-click context menu. Name: browser.safebrowsing.appRepURL Value: https://sb-ssl.google.com/safebrowsing/clientreport/download?key=%GOOGLE_API_KEY%
