Hello. Please can you tell me how I transfer the pop up settings from IE? I always have pop ups blocked - I know how to do that on Firefox, but on IE I had a big list of sites where pop ups are permitted, however this list hasn't transferred over to Firefox with my settings. Please could you tell me how I fix this please; or is it a case of manually copying the list from IE? It's going to be very tedious to begin all over again re-creating my permitted list. Thank you.

Hi PeaceFlowers2014, I understand that you have created a permitted list for popups in IE and would like to know how to move them to Firefox.

How to add to Firefox's exception list is as follows:

  1. Select Options... from the Tools menu (Windows) or Preferences... from the Firefox menu (OS X). The Options (Windows) or variable (OS X) dialog box opens.
  2. In the top panel of the dialog box, click on the Content icon to display the Content dialog box.
  3. In the Content dialog box, ensure the Block pop-up windows checkbox is selected, then click the adjacent Exceptions... button.

There does not seem to be an import option for this.
