Cookies and JavaScript allow, disallow and exceptions
Hello Mozilla Freaks, Worldwide :)
This is not actually a support/problem issue, but rather a suggestion for future versions. It would be really awesome if Firefox would have the ability to make cookies and JavaScript exceptions as Google Chrome can. Let me explain what I mean.
JavaScript: Firefox doesn't have the ability to allow/disallow JavaScript per site/domain. Yes, I know about the NoScript extension, but it doesn't compete with Chrome's simplicity. As to Ghostery, it's a great extension, but it does NOT address JavaScript at all.
Cookies: With cookies, Firefox does have the ability to make per site/domain exceptions, but Chrome still has the upper hand here because you can make those exceptions based on, not only the specific site, but also per protocol. You can make an Allow exception for https://[*.]mozilla.com, and cookies will be rejected on regular http://*.mozilla.com, but will be allowed on https. This additional ability is more important with JavaScript, and Chrome does have that too, but its good to have with cookies too.
Really, if Firefox can mimic these two, I would dump Chrome for good. I believe many others would too. I'm no developer, so I really don't know what it takes...... Thanks alot anyway :)

Feedback to Mozilla can be submitted here: https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback For the most part, the contributors who provide support here are other users, and don't work for Mozilla or doing any Firefox development.
Yeah, the-edmeister. I only realized that after I posted it. I then sent this in over there too. Thanks anyway.

Thanks cor-el. Though Chrome does these stuff better and simpler than all others, these add-ons will do for now. Really hope that future versions will directly address these 2 zones.
