Why do some firefox downloads redirect to gateway port 8181?
Was trying to download a driver from Logitech's website: "http://logitech-sjca.navisite.net/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/mouse/SetPoint6.65.62_64.exe" instead of going to the address indicated I instead get redirected to my gateway port 8181 and then the address above. This occurs both when clicking the download link on the websites AND when simply typing in the address. Eg, if my gateway was 192.168.0.1 then entering that address (or clicking on the link) would instead direct me to "http://192.168.0.1:8181/http://logitech-sjca.navisite.net/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/mouse/SetPoint6.65.62_64.exe" This also happens with some other downloads (like java runtime engine).
I've tried disabling all plugins and extensions to see if one of those was causing the problem, but the above still occurs. By the way, the extensions I did have are adblock plus, and flashblock. I also checked my net settings to see if it had something to do with a proxy. Currently set to no proxy. Checked the hosts file and there are no redirects there either. Also of note is that it only happens on Firefox. I attempted the same downloads on IE and they work. Doesn't make sense that it would be a browser compatibility issue since the sites I trying to dl from are pretty big (logitech and sun microsystems). Any suggestions?

It may be how the service that you are downloading from gets the download to you. http://www.adminsub.net/tcp-udp-port-.../8181
If you block the port, do the downloads stop working?
