Hopefully I can accurately describe the problem and since I'm not a computer person it may be a challenge -please have patience. I get the "Thunderbird Non-responsive" every time I change from one email to another, or attempt to delete a message. If I hit the selected command twice or more the screen will go blank or flash multiple times and then it returns to normal and I'll be on the newly selected message or the deleted message will be finally deleted. This situation started several months ago. If I wait about 5 to 10 seconds after I originally select a command a majority of the time everything is fine but I must wait the 5 - 10 seconds for this to occur. What am I doing wrong and/or there a way to fix this situation.

Thanks, Ed
