Unable to bookmark directly to a folder
What have they done to the bookmark functionality of Firefox? I never used to have a star in old versions and after selecting bookmark this page would just select the folder I wished to bookmark the web page to then click and it would save directly to that folder.
Now however I seem to have to click the star which just saves it as a random bookmark and then later I have to go and try to either remember what the bookmark was and file it to the relevant folder, or open the bookmark see what it was about then file it to the folder I want to.
What used to be a single flowing set of actions i.e. Click 'Bookmarks' , click 'Bookmark this page' , select the folder I want it in then click 'Save page' has now been broken into a several step process where you first bookmark into a potential mess of a mass of other bookmarks , then later have to go over to the organize bookmarks and try to find it and file it to the relevant folder. It is so unintuitive and feels backward to how it used to work so well. Cheers

Hi, click the star twice, then click the upper downward pointing arrow on the far right - not Unsorted Bookmarks, and you should be able to scroll through your folders > (select one) > Done.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
