I installed a new printer a while ago and now I need to delete the old printer. But, for the life of me, I don't know how to do it. Can anybody help?

1.If it was about linux : Go to Applications - system settings - printers. The printer window will now open, in the printer window select unlock in the top right hand corner, type in your password when asked. After you have entered your password you will see the lock button has changed to unlock. Now simply click on the minus sing under the printer. The minus sign is next to the plus sign at the bottom right corner.

2.If it was about Firefox:

If the above steps did not work, you may want to reset all of Firefox's printer settings:

Open your profile folder:

Click the menu button New Fx Menu , click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. The Troubleshooting Information tab will open. Under the Application Basics section, click on Show Folder. A window with your profile files will open.

"Note: If you are unable to open or use Firefox, follow the instructions in Finding your profile without opening Firefox."

Close firefox

In your profile folder, copy the prefs.js file to another folder to make a backup of it. Open the original prefs.js file in a text editor (such as WordPad). Remove all lines in prefs.js that start with print_ and save the file.

If something goes wrong when you open Firefox, close it again and overwrite prefs.js with the backup you made.
