cannot reserve free copy of internet explorer 10
Hello friends, I am using Firefox 38.0.1 because internet explorer page says about blank and I cannot use it. I tried to reserve Windows 10 down on my task bar like the instructions said but when I clicked on the red reserve box, the page just disappeared. It did not ask me for an email address or send me a confirmation. I went to Microsoft website but Q and A said to click on the windows and reserve your copy. The reserve copy is gone now. Does this mean there is something wrong or missing with my Firefox? I am not sure why my internet explorer page Windows 7 SP 1 just comes up saying about blanks. I have always used Firefox. I tried updating Firefox to the newer version but had do a date setback because a lot of items would not work with the newer version of Firefox. Also, I hit the button allow and remember when I was having problems with Adobe Flash Player on Facebook. Facebook is working just fine now. Was that ok to hit that button? If not, I will not be able to play games on Facebook any longer. Thank you in advance for your help.

In Internet Explorer, do any of your Favorites work? Just because it opens up with a blank page doesn't necessarily mean it's totally broken. But I digress...
Could you check whether you have something called the "Get Windows 10" application? It is mentioned in the FAQ:
Can I reserve even if I didn’t get a notification?
Yes. You can reserve your upgrade at any time on any compatible PC by clicking on the Get Windows 10 app or the Windows Update control panel.
It sounds as though even if you do not reserve Windows 10 by July 29th, you still should be able to get a free copy later:
Can I get my free Windows 10 upgrade even if I didn’t reserve?
Yes. The easiest way to get the free upgrade is to reserve, but you can upgrade even if you don’t reserve.

So... no worries!
Now, about Flash: make sure you have the updated release from earlier this week, version 18.0.0.209. You can check on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, Look for "Shockwave Flash" and check the version.
If you need to update, you can get 18.0.0.209 on this page:
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
In the first table, look for the row for "plugin-based browsers" and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.
To ensure that the installer can remove the old version, please close any tabs using Flash or exit out of Firefox during the installation.
