So, there's a way to "allow " firefox to use more RAM because it´s seems like there's some kind of limit If such a limit doesn't exist then why might be the reason firefox doesn't use more RAM when needed? My firefox keeps the RAM usage around 1GB when reach such limit.

this might help: Windows 10 (64bits). but the problem starts before the update (windows 8.1) intel core i5 1.8GHz 8GB of RAM. and 10 GB of Free space on th Hard Drive

It sounds strange that Firefox doesn't use more memory if it is not fully used.

Did you check your RAM use from the Task Manager or the Resource Monitor? The second gives more details than the first.

(to open the Resource Manager, first open the Task Manager, select the Perf tab and click on Open Resource Monitor at the bottom; in the new window, select the Memory tab)
