I was on the Blue Mountain website creating a card. They give you the option to add a photo. I've done this hundreds of time in Chrome and IE but in Firefox, the button on the page doesn't work. Everything else on that page works but not the add photo button. Br the way, this is the first time I've ever used Firefox with the Blue Mountain website so maybe I'm doing something wrong?

delete your cookies first and try after that.

I cleared all the cookies for the entire time and went in again to try to add a photo and when I click on the button, nothing happens. I've even tried creating an exception for blocking pop up windows but so far nothing helps. I have contacted Blue Mountain, but their office is closed until Monday.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

I found the instructions on how to start Firefox in safe mode. All of my extensions are now disabled. I then tried to upload a picture to Blue Mountain and it still doesn't work. The default theme is disabled and I cannot re-enable it, there is no enable button for default. I also don't understand any of the rest of your reply: "You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

This is my first time in Firefox and I'm not all that computer literate so I don't understand how to do what you've suggested.

Now, I've also lost my bookmarks bar and I can't find how to get it back. I've tried several other things that I found on your support site, but nothing helps. Now, I don't know how to get out of safe mode, nor do I know if I'm supposed to get out of it. Please help and remember that I'm not as tech savvy as you are!

Did you check your Anti-Virus security software to sure this this isn't blocking the files?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

I added Blue Mountain to my anti-virus and tried to add a photo again but it still doesn't work. I tried to boot the computer according to the instructions in the article you sent but it says this: "When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed". When I restart my computer the hardware is not being listed. Could it be that I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium instead of just Windows 7? So, I could not get the computer into safe mode - but why would adding a photo work in Chrome - if something was wrong with my computer?
