Got and AMD Phenom 965BE (slighly OC to 3.6) and HD5670 graphics.

Now in the current (Flash) games, how much difference does the graphics card make?

Not keen on upgrading the CPU, as it means going pretty expebsive to find one that is actually a worthwhile upgrade, but got my eye on a few graphics card possibilities.

I'm guessing that Graphics may make more difference in Flash games, as it uses a more game-tuned engine

I do not know exactly which may have the best performance with out a thorough qa test report between the graphics cards and the particular flash game that is being played.

This article is more for developers on how to optimize the flash performance applications: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/art.../optimizing-flash-performance.html

Currently a facing end user can only disable or enable hardware acceleration in an embedded flash game on a site in Firefox.

It looks like Windows has a built in detection as well if you would like to find test results: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../fixing-game-performance-problems#1TC=windows-7

I built a new AMD based PC back in April and did a bit of research about what worked best specifically with Firefox. I am happy with an ASUS HD 6450 Silent video card for Flash presentations, but I don't do any gaming and my selection for the vid card was weighted towards cost vs suitability for Flash based gaming.

Overall, it would be a good idea to peruse some gamer or hardware fora to see what other gamers recommend.

Was getting low framerate when playing through Armorgames, though I usually fullscreened to get rid of all the junk.

A lot smoother now playing on the game site, and I can leave it short of going fullscreen without distractions (monitor is 1280x1024)
