I was not able to find this reported as a bug.

Are you aware of the issue ?

Since Thunderbirds 31.0 I had to downgrade after each upgrade because during message composition the write window freezes . What is worse if I do not notice and keep typing the control is stolen to main window and I and up issuing commands through keyboard short-cuts which messes my mail big time.

Mail sorting can also now be unresponsive in 31.4.0 and generally the window freezes. my guess when filters are running. K

I am on Windows 7 and mail server is Microsoft Exchange 2003, used via IMAP
