How do I "send to desktop", a link in "Bookmarks". The "old" outdated way of doing it in "Favorites" was easy for this 77+ year old bugger, who wants to keep up, doan cha know. Thank You, DearHeart !

Once you Bookmarks in Firefox, you can drag them to the desktop.

Just resize the Firefox window to a section of the desktop is visible and drag the bookmark there.
