need to reregister to sign on to internet use
I have just downloaded Firefox and believe it is successfully installed and upgraded BUT i can not sign on as the system does not recognize my Password or user name . On first downloading the Firefox I only remember inputting my email address from MS explorer . I did get the confirmation on the email provided. However Firefox does not recognize the correct Password or user name. Then I was looking to restringing my details as I am a firs time user of Firefox. That is how I ended up on this support page . I have now created in the right order email (which is Hotmail account ) my primary account. Then User name which I created new one.and the password also new one . I am not sure will If this would me my actual registration and therefore will receive email to Activate my account as so far that is pending and stopping me using the fir fox browser.

You don't need a username or password to use Firefox. And if you downloaded Firefox from the official website, you wouldn't have needed to enter a username or password for the download. Since you posted here with Firefox 43 on Windows Vista, I am a bit confused as to what your support question pertains to.
It might help if you pasted a small portion of the confirmation email that you received (without any personal information) to help figure out what your problem is.
BTW, your registration information for this Support forum, including the username / email address and password are completely separate from any other "registrations" that you may have for other Mozilla websites or for a Firefox Account which is used for "services" offered for Firefox.
Yes, this whole thing sounds confusing and it is. "Nothing" seems to be "connected" with anything else that Mozilla does; but that is slowly being fixed.
