Not sure what a Firefox beta solution is or how it relates to a Send button in Thunderbird.

The send button is in a Write window in Thunderbird so hopefully you are looking there. Do you have a Menu Bar? If not press the alt key to make it appear. From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on. Send is on the Composition Toolbar.

The send button is in a Write window in Thunderbird so hopefully you are looking there. Do you have a Menu Bar? If not press the alt key to make it appear. From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on. Send is on the Composition Toolbar.
