So upon installing FF 46 on Linux Mint 17.3 KDE, I appear to have broken menu dropdowns. The buttons inside still function, but nothing is displayed except for the border shading. Rather sure this is related to the new GTK support that was added, but I have no idea what to do about it.

Firefox 46.0 needs GTK 3.4 or newer to run and as a result needs a GTK 3 theme if you want Firefox 46.0+ to be themed by the OS theme.

Firefox 46.0 may look unthemed if say a GTK 2 theme is in use (instead of a GTK 3 theme) and some things like the up/down arrows on scroll bar may be missing.

Thanks for the quick reply. So this leaves me with two more questions.

First, is there a way to disable the new function?

Or second, how do I know which themes are based on GTK 3?
