Dear Firefox Friends

I'm having huge problems deleting chunks of browsing history without Firefox crashing. When I go to the library and select the history to delete, everything just freezes up and eventually crashes, rather than the history deleting. I can delete things page by page, but this takes ages! Any suggestions?

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.

Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
