Please what should I do once the Thunderbird is permanently downloading the same messages? I contacted the mail provider but they told me I must solve this with Thunderbird. All unread messages are downloaded in the set up intervals for checking the emails... So the same emails are still coming up.. Once I mark them as read in email provider, they are no longer donwloaded, thats the only possibility. But then I do not need the Thunderbird if I always have to check and mark them in mail provider...

I cleared all the cash, deleted and recreated the account, reinstalled the already installed Mozilla, made the disk checkups also by antiviruses, restarted (there my comp noted the cleaning and repairing process of drive C) and then it started working. Dont know, what helped... But now it is working.. I just see that some contacts disappeared from the address book, but all the rest is ok. Strange, but Im happy its working;)
