My college set up their own link to Pearson's Math Lab, where I can access the course and complete assignments. I have other classes that use Pearson's labs and I have no problem accessing any of them-or any other website-, EXCEPT for the math lab. I can access it on my phone when I'm not connected to my wifi, but its hard to do any work on such a smaller screen. I keep getting the same error message when I try to go to the page to log in. I've tried other browsers, clearing cookies and history, reinstalling Firefox, restarting my router for the wifi, and nothing has worked. I have the current version of Windows 10 and Firefox.

The website I'm trying to go to is https://centralaz-mlpui.openclass.com/

The error message is : Secure Connection Failed

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I've been trying to fix this since this morning, so any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated!

Sorry that I haven't replied. The website is loading okay for me now, and I haven't had any problems with it since Friday. I don't know how it was fixed, but it was. I think that it may have been something to do with the cyber attack on Dyn servers, who knows.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.

I don't have any security software installed. My free trial for McAfee expired a couple weeks ago. I currently only have Windows Defender and the firewall on but I run scans every week.

You may have corrupt cert8.db file. cert8.db stores all your security certificate settings

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the above file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.
