Since upgrading my Mac to Sierra a window with "Scan-from-PC Settings" opens when I turn computer on. AppleCare says it's my Firefox browser.

Whenever I start my Mac laptop after the desktop is loaded, a window pops up that says "Scan-from-PC Settings". Since it says "scan" I thought it must have something to do with my printer, but my printer & scanner both work perfectly. Sometimes if I click on printer icon in Systems Preferences, another window comes up that says, 'filter' failed. Don't know what this window means either! AppleCare says this is a Firefox browser problem not an Apple problem - that Apple never uses the term "PC". I am attaching a screen shot showing the window that opens when I start my computer. P.S. Attempted to attach the Screen shot but for some reason the uploading just kept on spinning. If I have the opportunity I'll try uploading it again. . . . upload still spinning. Just going to post my question

Might be an issue with Scanner auto-start or maybe Malware.
